During 2017, the corresponding values were just 966 and 91 ICOs respectively.<\/p>\n<p id=\"0d30\" class=\"graf graf--p graf-after--p\">However, the economic results are less impressive: The total amount raised in 2018 was almost $11.5 billion, against little more than $10 billion during 2017, with a mere 13 percent growth.<\/p>\n<p id=\"a842\" class=\"graf graf--p graf-after--p\">A balance of the general trend of the ICO market during 2018 is, in fact, double-edged. With ICOs in March 2018 collecting almost $1.75 billion, the first half of the year marked the highest point of growth since the beginning of the upward trend that started in late spring 2017, although June 2017\u2019s data is an anomaly, as\u00a0<a class=\"markup--anchor markup--p-anchor\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1Vlt63JjIGgASJBn_mdw072c06PItC-Dy_gd7CUSwTwc\/edit#bookmark=id.gjdgxs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow,noopener noopener nofollow\" data-href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1Vlt63JjIGgASJBn_mdw072c06PItC-Dy_gd7CUSwTwc\/edit#bookmark=id.gjdgxs\" data->seen below<\/a>.
