HitBTC: Registration tutorial, purchase SaTT and exchange them

In order to bring you an ever simpler and more intuitive experience, we have set up a series of explanatory tutorials for the different platforms on which the SaTT is listed. 

You will also find a lexicon which will allow you to better understand certain technical terms.
These tutorials are intended to explain the steps to be performed on these platforms:

For portfolio managers such as HitBTC or SaTT, the validation of a transaction is final.
Indeed, there is no possibility of retracting you once you validate this transaction.
Always make sure you are sure of the address you are copying and pasting.
For example, you can write down and check the first 4 characters, then 4 in the middle and finally the last 4.
Whenever your attention needs to be maximized, you will see this sign ⚠️ on this tutorial.

Glossary: 

To make this experience as understandable as possible, here is a glossary of technical terms used in this tutorial.

URL (Uniform Resource Locator):
Address of a site or hypertext page on the Internet (e.g. https://satt.atayen.us/)
By extension, the URL bar is the search bar of your internet browser.

KYC (Know Your Customer) :
The Know Your Customer consists, for a bank or a large company, in verifying the identity and integrity of its customers, in order to prevent in particular corruption, money laundering, tax fraud and the financing of terrorism. It also helps to ensure the stability of the financial system. The process consists of collecting and analyzing data related to the customer and validating their identity. It then continues throughout the relationship. Examination of transactions and customer behavior, assessment of their level of risk. 

2FA (Two-Factor Authentication)Two-factor :
Authentication is one of the so-called “strong” security methods.
It allows you to bring two separate proofs of identity to log into your account.
You can secure access to your account with 2FA.

Step 1: How to create an account?

To get started, go to the URL https://hitbtc.com/
Click on [SIGN UP]. 

Fill in various fields:

1. Your email.
2. Your password (please use a secure password).
3. Click on [SIGN UP].

On the next page, HitBTC asks you to confirm your email address. 

To do this, go to your email, open their email, then click on the link.

You will be automatically redirected to the HitBTC site.

1. Scroll down to the bottom of the text “Privacy Policy”
2,3,4. Check the boxes
5. Click on [Confirm]

You will be automatically redirected to your HitBTC profile

Step 2: How to fill in the KYC and create the 2FA 

2FA

HitBTC asks you to secure your account using 2FA.
Click on [Secure your account]

In the “Two Step Authentications” section, you have the choice to use Google Authenticator or Yubikey.
We will continue this tutorial with Google Authenticator. You can download it to your smartphone Android or Apple.
Click on [Add GAuth]

1. Copy your [CODE] and keep it safe. It will be mandatory to be able to connect with another device, if you change your smartphone or if you lose it.
2. Check the box to certify that you have correctly noted your code.
3. Click on [Confirm].

Using the Google Authenticator app, scan your QR code (1), then click [Next] (2).

1. Enter the code provided by your Google Authenticator app.
2. Click on [Confirm].

HitBTC ask you a check via email, click [OK].

Go to your mailbox and confirm the authentication by clicking on the link.Congratulations, your 2FA is validated. Now on to your KYC.

The KYC

The status of your 2FA is now “Active”. Click on “KYC” tab.

1. Enter your personal information, then click on [Save]. 
2. Enter your address, then click on [Save].

Go down to download your proof of identity by clicking on [Choose File] or [Take photo].

For the last part, you must:

1. Upload a selfie with your identity document and a handwritten text comprising:
   → your email address
   → the current date
   → the mention: “for HitBTC KYC”
   and respecting various points (photo in color and in good resolution / your face must be perfectly visible / your text must be handwritten / your identity document must be the same as that downloaded previously)
2. Insert your mobile number then click on [Add]
3. Click on [Request Verification]

Your KYC is waiting. Once validated, you will have access to all the features of the HitBTC platform!

Step 3: How to buy SaTT with BTC

1. Don’t have BTC yet?

The HitBTC platform allows you to buy BTC by credit card, here are the steps to follow:

Click on the [+ Deposit] tab.

Click on [Buy Bitcoin with Credit Card]

1. Select the desired currency and the desired amount.
2. View the amount of BTC you will receive
3. Select the platform with which you will buy your BTC
4. Click on [Continue]

Continue the various steps for the purchase of your BTC.
Once your payment has been made, your BTC balance will be automatically credited to your wallet in the column “Main account”.
Click on the  -> to move your BTC to the “Trading Account”. You will need to insert the desired amount.

Click on [Exchange]

In the“Search” field, insert: SaTT

In the [BUY SaTT] tab, and choosing the desired type of order, you can sell BTC to buy SATT.
As indicated at the end of the glossary, we invite you to carry out your own research concerning the different types of orders offered by HitBTC.

Once your order has been executed, you will find your SaTT on the SaTT line of the tab [Account].

Do you want to deposit your BTC?

Go to [Account]
On the BTC line, click on [Deposit]

Make sure you deposit ONLY BTC at this address.

⚠️ If the platform from which you want to send your BTC supports QR Codes, go to the [BTC withdrawal] part of your exchange, flash the QR Code of your HitBTC deposit address, then proceed to the transfer of all or part of your BTC.
⚠️ If the platform from which you want to send your BTC does not support QR Code, click on [COPY] to copy your HitBTC deposit address, then paste it in the [BTC withdrawal] part of your exchange and proceed the transfer of all or part of your BTC.

After validation of the blockchain, your BTC will be available on your “Main account”.
Click on the  → to move your BTCs to the “Trading Account”. You will need to insert the desired amount.

Click on [Exchange]

In “Search” insert: SaTT

In [BUY SaTT], choosing the desired type of order, you can sell BTC to buy SATT.
As indicated at the end of the glossary, we invite you to carry out your own research concerning the different types of orders offered by HitBTC.

Once your order has been executed, you will find your SaTT on the SaTT line of [Account].

Step 4: How to deposit your SaTT on HitBTC?

If you already have SaTT, and you want to transfer them to HitBTC, here is the procedure to follow.

Go to [Account]
In “Search”, insert: SaTT.
Click on the button [Deposit]

Make sure to file ONLY Satt ERC20 this address.

⚠️ If the platform from which you want to send your SaTT supports QR Codes, go to the [SaTT withdrawal] part of your exchange, flash the QR Code of your HitBTC deposit address, then proceed to the transfer of all or part of your SaTT.
⚠️ If the platform from which you want to send your SaTT does not support QR Code, click on thebutton [COPY] to copy your SaTT deposit address to HitBTC, then paste it in the [SaTT withdrawal] part of your exchange and proceed with the transfer of all or part of your SaTT.

In our example, we will focus on our platform.
Go to your SaTT wallet (https://satt.atayen.us/#/access/signin) or to the platform where your tokens are located.

The SaTT exchangeable on HitBTC is the ERC20 version, make sure you have ETH on your wallet in order to pay the transaction fees.
Warning:

ANY TRANSFER TO HITBTC FROM A VERSION OF SATT OTHER THAN ERC20, WILL RESULT IN THE PERMANENT LOSS OF YOUR FUNDS.

1. Paste the address you copied to the platform. ⚠️
2. Select “SaTT” from the drop-down menu.
3. Enter the amount you want to send to the platform. Don’t forget to deduct the costs advertised in the gray box.
4. Enter your transaction password (you can re-read our blog post regarding the transaction password)
5. Click on [CARRY OUT THE TRANSACTION].

A pop up window will appear to confirm your transaction.

After validation of your transaction, your SaTT will be available on HitBTC.

Step 5: How to redeem your SaTT?

You can trade your SaTT on HitBTC for BTC or USDT. 

1. Go to your “Main account” and click on the right arrow to move your SaTT from your “Main account” to your “Trading Account”.
2. Click on thetab [Exchange]
3. In “Search” insert: SaTT
4. In [SELL SaTT], choosing the desired type of order, you can sell BTC to buy SATT.
   As indicated at the end of the glossary, we invite you to carry out your own research concerning the different types of orders offered by HitBTC.
5. Once your order has been executed, you will find your BTC on the SaTT line of [Account].
