1- What is a ‘transaction password
In addition to your login details, when you want to make a transfer, the SaTT wallet will ask you to configure another password to secure your transactions. This is a security measure designed to prevent others from carrying out transactions on your account. This prevents situations where a hacker steals your login details or if you accidentally leave your account open on your phone or your computer and someone else accesses it. We’ve got your back covered with the transaction password ! 👍
Now read on to see how to configure a transaction password. First you’ll have to create a SaTT wallet account.
Creating a SaTT wallet account
Step 1: Registration
Go to https://satt.atayen.us . Click on ‘Create an account’ all the way at the bottom. You are given the option to create an account with your email or with Facebook, Google or Telegram.
If you choose the email option, you will be asked to create a password (this is different from your transaction password). Note that this blue lock icon accompanies your password:
Enter your password twice, accept the terms of use and then click ‘Continue’. You are then asked to validate your account from the email address you entered. You are redirected back to the SaTT platform. Enter your email and password to sign in.
Step 2: Create portfolio
In your SaTT wallet you can create your token portfolio.
Step 3: Set up transaction password
When you click your profile at the top right hand corner of the page, 3 options will show up. Click on ‘Wallet security’. Selecting wallet security will allow you to enter your second password.
This is your transaction password . It will be accompanied each time by this orange key icon:
After validation, your wallet is generated and you can access all your features!
Let’s review this procedure internally so you understand what is actually happening.
Step 1: You register on https://satt.atayen.us .
Step 2: Enter your transaction password and validate.
Step 3: A keystore.json file, as well as a sentence mnemo are generated. These two files are available in the ‘wallet security’ tab.
The keystore.json file represents your entire wallet. It is generated and encrypted with the transaction password. This wallet is directly linked to the blockchain and is independent of the satt-atayen.us platform.
Our platform only allows you to decrypt the keystore.json file and read it with your password.

When entering your password, please check these 3 boxes to remind yourself of the risk you are taking if you lose your transaction password. You have to be aware that we are unable to provide it to you again!
3- Why the transaction password is not saved
You will find that every year, tons of platforms are hacked in order to steal funds from user accounts.
The difference with our platform?
Your account and your wallet are two different but linked accounts. This is designed so as to secure your wallets.
The satt.attayen.us account is your personal account, with your email address and is secured by your registration password.
The blockchain account with your funds, your keystore.json is secured by your transaction password.
The keystore.json file is used to link these two accounts. No one can access your funds without your password. So please keep it safe and choose a highly secure password!
For the blockchain account, the password is not stored anywhere, you are the only holder, you are the bank! 😎
This is why it is so important to store your password in a safe place because it is neither renewable nor recoverable.

4- Create your password carefully
There is only one way to hack your account: steal the key, and do a brute force attack on the password. A brute force attack involves trying all possible combinations in the shortest possible time.
The longer your password is and the more different types of characters it contains, the more difficult your wallet will be to hack.
Construction of a highly secure password:
- 8 to 18 characters.
- Include numbers.
- Include upper and lower case.
- Include special characters.
- Do not include your username.

5 – Traffic congestion problems encountered during token listing
On September 23, during our token listing, there was a significant number of requests on the platform. This is related in particular to the server’s interaction with the blockchain, where the system was overwhelmed.
The window for creating the secure password appeared again and some members filled out the form, creating a second secure password. This led to the creation of two portfolios for the same account.
Conflict was detected and the internal automated manager prioritized the last portfolio created. However, the earlier one was not overwritten.
We are happy to inform you that we have traced the 520 accounts concerned and deleted the duplicate accounts no account today suffers from this anomaly.
6 – You forgot your password! Take advantage of insurance today 😊
Some of our SaTT holders are experiencing transaction password issues.
