Oracles Update: Reach Max Feature Improvement
One of the main goals of the SaTT project is automation. From the link approval of participation in a campaign to the earnings payment generated by the publication, we want to simplify the work of each party as much as possible, without neglecting the decentralized aspect. We will then explain the stakes of our tests as well as an example of a cheating scenario, corrected.

Problem: false statistics and bots on social media
The purchase of views and the generation of bots have become commonplace. Dozens of sites for buying views, subscribers, and shares are accessible with a simple Google search. Buying or setting up one or more bots only takes a few minutes for an experienced user.
Improved Reach Max functionality
The reach max limits an influencer’s earnings, based on their number of subscribers. If you want to know more, find here an article on the calculation of the reach max.
The logic concerning social networks is that an influencer will always have fewer views on his publications than his number of followers. An account with 100k followers will never get 100k views on all of its tweets. This is obviously still possible on one or a few buzz tweets.
We have therefore added a setting, the max reach, defined as a percentage, which limits an influencer’s earnings, depending on his number of subscribers. Therefore, if the reach max is set to 75%, and an influencer with 100 followers posts a tweet with 10k views, his gain will be limited to 75 views.
Our oracles update the scores of your publications every hour: views, likes, shares, retweets, as well as followers. They were updating all the stats, including his follower count, and recalculating the influencer earnings. This allowed the influencer to boost his statistics and, as a result, to cheat. Our teams had anticipated this process thanks to machine learning techniques recently put in place.
Oracles now set the number of subscribers when the campaign manager accepts the link.
This standard is applied to all oracles, reworked according to aspects of each social media.
